Aggies Without Limits

To unite students in working collaboratively with different regions and local areas to support initiatives that enhance daily living conditions through sustainable and cost-effective engineering projects. To encourage the development of engineers, students, and professionals who are aware of global challenges and dedicated to responsible solutions.

 

American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES)

To inspire and cultivate student interest in science and engineering; to support engagement in science and engineering fields at all levels; and to encourage the professional growth of students pursuing careers in these disciplines.

 

American Society of Civil Engineers

The objectives of this organization shall be to encourage the development of a professional mindset, to provide opportunities for civil engineering students to connect and collaborate effectively, to create an atmosphere of camaraderie, and to establish connections with experienced professionals in the field.

 

American Society of Mechanical Engineers

The purpose of this organization shall be to advance and share knowledge related to the principles and applications of mechanical engineering, to provide a comprehensive view of engineering work, and to facilitate networking and interaction within the Society (ASME) while fostering professional development and collaboration.

 

Associated General Contractors (AGC)

To offer students interested in the construction industry opportunities to gain exposure to the field and to develop professional skills through discussions with industry professionals, guest speakers, field visits, student-faculty engagement, and work-related experiences.

 

Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP)

Mission: To provide leadership and education in information technology. AITP is committed to utilizing the strength of IT partnerships to offer educational benefits to its members and to support the industry by contributing to the overall development of IT.

 

Atomic Aggies

To accomplish academic success in the field of engineering and improve the NMSU campus with our projects.

 

Engineers Council

The purpose of this organization is to encourage both professional and social engagement among engineers by serving as a coordinating body of engineering students representing various organizations, as outlined in the bylaws, and to facilitate interaction with the Dean of Engineering.

 

National Society of Black Engineers

  1. To inspire and cultivate student interest in engineering, science, and technology-related fields.

  2. To support students pursuing degrees in science and engineering at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

  3. To promote the growth and professional development of students in engineering and scientific careers.

 

National Society of Professional Surveyors and the New Mexico Professional Surveyors

NSPS/NMPS is a student organization for those studying Surveying/Geomatics or those with an interest in the field. As a chartered chapter of the National Society of Professional Surveyors and the New Mexico Professional Surveyors, the organization provides opportunities for students to participate in community efforts, attend industry conferences, and contribute to university initiatives.

 

Society of Automotive Engineers Baja

  1. To encourage professional growth among members through organizational programs, networking opportunities, and hands-on projects.

  2. To foster interest in mechanical design, transportation, and engineering applications related to mobility.

  3. To provide students at New Mexico State University with hands-on experience in engineering through collaboration with faculty and peers.

Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE)

  1. To support the success of engineering students at New Mexico State University.

  2. To inform the public about technological advancements and contributions made by professionals in engineering.

  3. To assist students in preparing for careers in engineering and science-related fields.

  4. To encourage academic excellence and participation in initiatives that prepare students for technical careers.

  5. To collaborate with industry and educational institutions to create opportunities for students pursuing technical professions.

  6. To provide a platform for students to share information relevant to their academic and professional growth.

 

Society of Women Engineers (SWE)

  1. To educate students, families, and educators about the qualifications and achievements of engineers and the career paths available in the field.

  2. To provide resources for professionals seeking to re-enter the workforce after a career break.

  3. To encourage individuals in the field to strive for excellence in education and professional development.

  4. To serve as a hub for information on career opportunities and advancements within engineering.
