GUIDE FOR STUDENT AUTHORS
The
TECHNOLOGY INTERFACE JOURNAL
accepts student papers related to Engineering and Engineering Technology
projects in their curriculums. This opportunity allows students to share their
successful projects in various project-based classes, particularly senior
projects in a capstone course. We also accept papers that provide resources for
student projects.
The TECHNOLOGY INTERFACE JOURNAL is seeking qualified student authors from universities, 2-year schools, vocational schools and high schools and from industry professionals. Submitted work must be original or not previously distributed on-line. The articles must be relevant to the Engineering and Engineering Technology profession. Each submitted document will be peer-reviewed by professionals from that field. The only exception to this will be invited papers. Invited papers normally requested by either the editor or the associate editors.
A manuscript accepted for publication in the TECHNOLOGY INTERFACE JOURNAL will appear in the next publication. Therefore, there will be a minimum time delay for publication.
MANUSCRIPT REQUIREMENTS
The TECHNOLOGY INTERFACE JOURNAL is intended to be a paperless (environmentally friendly) on-line publication via the World-Wide Web (WWW) specifically for the Engineering and Engineering Technology professions. Submissions to the TECHNOLOGY INTERFACE JOURNAL such as an article submission, peer-review of submitted documents, requested editing changes, notification of acceptance or rejection, and final publication of the accepted manuscript will be handled electronically via WWW. Authors must be capable of communicating with the TECHNOLOGY INTERFACE JOURNAL via WWW.
Manuscripts submitted to the TECHNOLOGY INTERFACE JOURNAL must be prepared in either Microsoft Word format. Manuscripts submitted should be prepared in a style similar to documents already appearing in the Technology Interface Journal. Use [#] for numbering references, incorporate all images in the document, prepare tables in a proper Microsoft Word format, do not use Tabbed text for tables. Margin formats are not specified for the Word submissions. Try to maintain a style similar to articles currently on-line.
Papers published in the Technology Interface Journal will appear in both HTML and Adobe .pdf format readable using Adobe Acrobat Reader. You can download the Adobe Acrobat Reader from Adobe.
