Located on NMSU’s campus, this solar sign is powered by a 65W PV panel and a 12V battery. The function of this system is to provide a safe, visible – day and night – location for the Aggie Transit bus schedule.

A fully functional 24 volt 400 watt wind turbine used for class demonstrations. This system was implemented to educate students about the design and functionality of wind energy.

Two fully functional mobile solar systems aimed at educating students about logic and functionality of solar energy.
Four fully functional solar collectors used to heat water. This system is capable of running in both passive and active modes.
This system is designed to compare the efficiency of a passive one-axis solar tracker versus a fixed altitude adjustable PV rack. Each system produces approximately 180 watts of power and is monitored by a data acquisition system.
